In the September event of the Austin Startup Meetup, we will discuss user acquisition strategies to get your first 100 users.
Finding the initial users for our products and services may seem easy at first glance. Many founders assume it would be easy to get at least a couple of hundred people in their immediate network to start using the wonderful apps/products/services they have been building. However, when the time comes to onboard the users, many realize that getting users, even those from their close social and professional circles, to install/sign up and use their products is a daunting task.
Moreover, it is crucial for the founder to not just get initial users, but get the right target users, the ones that have the problem the product is solving and are open to offering feedback. Early adopters are a supremely important set of users whose feedback is valuable for long-term growth and adoption of the product.
In this session, we will focus on all those aspects of finding the right early users and peripheral activities of collecting actionable feedback. As always, this is a free session, so all you gotta bring with you is a curious mind and your experiences and ideas to share with others so we can have an enriching conversation and we can all benefit from the exchange of information and ideas.
