• What We're Looking For: Insightful articles, how-to guides, case studies, and thought pieces relevant to the Austin startup ecosystem. Think topics like fundraising, marketing, product development, team building, and more! If you've got a knack for writing and something valuable to share, we want to hear from you.
• Why Contribute: Get your name and expertise out there, connect with fellow founders, and become a recognized voice in the Austin startup scene. It's also a great excuse to finally write that blog post you've been putting off.
• How to Submit:
  • Send us a brief pitch outlining your proposed article topic and key takeaways to organizers@austinstartupmeetup.com with the subject starting with 'BLOG POST IDEA - '.
  • We’ll get back to you if your topic is a good fit for our readers. We won't ghost you (we promise!).
  • If approved, you can send us the completed article. We'll review it and work with you on edits and formatting.

2. Shine Bright: Pitch Your Startup at Our Events

• What We're Looking For: Innovative startups, cutting-edge technologies, and founders with a compelling story to tell. Whether you're pre-seed or scaling, we want to give you a stage to shine.
• Why Pitch: Gain exposure to potential investors, partners, customers, and mentors. Get valuable feedback on your pitch and product, and build a strong presence within the Austin startup community. Plus, bragging rights are always a bonus!
• How to Submit:
  • Send us a brief overview of your startup, your pitch deck (if available) and any demos or videos to organizers@austinstartupmeetup.com with the subject starting with 'EVENT PITCH REQUEST - '.
  • Tell us why your startup is special and why you think our audience would love it.
  • We'll let you know if your startup is selected for an upcoming event.

3. Guide the Next Generation: Become a Mentor/Advisor

• What We're Looking For: Experienced professionals, seasoned entrepreneurs, and anyone with expertise in a specific area of the startup world. If you've been there, done that, and want to give back, we need you!
• Why Mentor: Share your knowledge, make a positive impact on the next generation of founders, expand your network, and feel the warm fuzzies of helping someone grow. Plus, you get to feel wise and knowledgeable (we won't tell).
